Happy Homemaker Monday: December 3,2018

Oh my! my house is so quite this morning and really can not decide how I feel about it. I have this feeling that my roof is about to be lifted with Christmas music. My youngest stayed with a friend last night and my hubby had to work. So I am here by myself today. I want to be real honest I am not sure how I feel about that.
I miss the morning of little feet pitter pattering  across the floors. At the same time I love seeing who the have blossomed into. My journey of being a homemaker has been changing! I have a love hate relationship with it at the moment.
My heart is overwhelmed with blessings and emotions this morning. This time of the year tends to do that. I am super excited to know that I have a day planned just to spend in my sewing room! So I guess if I am going to ever make it there I need to quit blabbering lol.
Today I am linking up with Sandra over at A Diary Of A Stay At Home Mom  for Happy Homemaker Monday. I hope you will join on the fun and follow the link below!

The Weather Outside Today:
Its crazy to to think it is 60 degrees already this morning and will be almost 70 for the high. They are calling for a chance of snow for the weekend! I am so excited, the little kid in my can not wait to watch it snow. The auto immune side of me isn't so sure she's ready! There is something so magical about snow ....

On The Breakfast Plate:
Coffee with sugar cookie creamer and a swirl of white chocolate. My hubby wanted apple fritters so I had a half. I will need to find some almonds for a protein source when I am done here...

Looking Out My Window:\
The trees have lost there majesty of fall leaves and are bare, the sky is grey even though it is warm. Its more of a early fall day than a December morning...

Right Mow I am :
Setting at the kitchen table gazing out the dining room window as I type this! I really need to turn on some music to motivate me !

As I Look Around The House:
Its in good order at the moment... With no one here all day yesterday till late. There were no messes to be made to clean up...

Currently Reading:
I just finished past forward and i was so sad to see it end. It has a sequel Hearth Land! I can not wait to begin it.... However I have a feeling it will have to wait till after Christmas.

On My TV:
We have fallen in love with New Amsterdam and Good Doctor! I have watched all my historical series and in search of a new one!

On the Menu This Week:
Monday; Date night with hubby
Tuesday: Cajun Chicken Pasta
Wednesday: Fiesta Chicken Rice Bowls
Thursday: Sloppy Joe's and Fries
Friday:Salmon Broccoli and Rice

What Am I Creating At The Moment :
I have two sewing orders for Christmas! One is for american girls pj's and bedding! The other is a memory bear. I have also been working on my short story blog page ! I so love writing them! If you would like to check it out you follow the link below!

Favorite Photo from My Camera :

We decided to use our fireplace this year! I am so excited to do so! There is something enchanting about watching a fire! My mantle is filled with things my kids have made and things that have belonged to people I love and no longer here! I love this time of the year! I hope this spring we can take the wall unit out since we never use it!

Prayers, Inspirational Quotes, Or Devotions:

I came across this the other day... It hit home quite hard! The past few years have been a roller coaster ride to say the least and in some ways things are no better and we still await answers. I have a few upcoming medical test! Please help us pray we find answers and that answers bring relief! That we find the medicine that makes more days bearable ..... I want to love each day I open my eyes even the hardest!

In Closing:
Thank you for stopping by and sharing apart of your day with me! I pray you have a blessed week! That you enjoy each adventure your faced with!
~ Blessings Shellie
